Clearly, it's well past time GeoROCKS! and I went on another jaunt.

Geocache Description:

A small cache placed in the main plaza of the Santo Domingo Botanical Gardens.

The Santo Domingo Botanical Gardens are about 2 million square meters, making it the largest in the Caribbean. Within are exhibits of the natural flora of the island and areas dedicated to palm trees, orchids (over 300 types) and exotic plants from around the world. Many agree that the Japanese Garden here is one of the most lovely in the world.

We took the train tour to get the general layout and then spend a wonderful time wandering on our own. The train guide, like all of the other folks we met during our visit, he was friendly and full of information.

This cache is located near the middle of the main plaza, not far from the entrance gate. It's tucked under the branches right next to a stair. The photo shows exactly where.
