Geocache Description:

Located in Shark River Park

As the name of this cache implies, this park has many "mounds" across its landscape, these mounds I suspect were man-made many years ago, and the forest has since retaken the land leaving these unexplained high spots amongst the trees.

The cache container is a mini (PVC pipe) in plain sight on one of these mounds. To reach the cache no bushwhacking should be required. There is a “logical” entry point off the main trail (Cedar Trail) that will allow you to cross a “mound range” to reach the cache. The cache contains a log book, and an initial Where's George dollar, I forgot a pencil, so bring something to write with.

When replacing the cache container please place it threads down to better resist the weather.
