Geocache Description:

Traditional cache in the Red Rock Canyon area.

This area isn't as busy as the Red Rock Loop, yet the color and beauty is just as stunning.

The cache is easy to find and only .37 miles from the parking area. The area that we always park in is just off Highway 160, so there is no entrance fee. The ammo can is camouflaged to match the desert surroundings.

If you have the time, I recommend scouting the area for the lower part of the Oak Creek Spring, and continuing up (or is it down?) the trail into Oak Creek Canyon. The water source for the spring is just around 2 miles into the canyon from this geocache.

Nearby caches to check out are Vegas New Years 2K1 Stash, Take a Picture Why Don't you? and Comfort Creek Cache.

To log this cache as a find, you MUST write your name in the logbook or your online log will be deleted.

Congratulations to Jinxed95 for FTF!

Happy Caching!
