This is a nice area that can hardly been seen
from the highway. The spring's water source comes from higher up in
Oak Creek and actually travels underground for a short distance
before coming above-ground again. There are dozens of trails and
you can spend an entire day out here. By far, this is my favorite
spot in Red Rock and the spot that I will be frequenting the most
often.
I do not recommend wearing your Sunday shoes, as
there's a chance they may get wet.
Nearby caches to check out are Vegas New Years
2K1 Stash, Take a Picture Why Don't you? and Oak Creek Trail
Cache.
If you have the time, I recommend hiking up into
Oak Creek Canyon. It's rough hike, but definitely worth it once you
reach the waterfall.
To log this cache as a find, you MUST write your name in the
logbook or your online log will be deleted.
Congratulations to Jinxed95 for FTF!
