Geocache Description:

Another one of Latrobe City's hidden gems on the edge of Morwell.
This land was originally purchased from the former State Electricity Commission (SEC) in the late 80's.
Various groups have tried to transform this reserve into what it is today.
A former Latrobe Councilor (Peter Ryan) is now the current president of the committee and prides himself on the work they have achieved since 1999.
This area is rich with wildlife such as kangaroos, birds and echidnas. (I even saw an echidna while placing the cache)There is also many fine examples of flora including a number of wild orchids.
There is a picnic shelter and toilet nearby and about 3.5km of tracks to wander around.
Please come for a while and enjoy the suroundings.
It is best to approch this chache from the road that approches the Golf Course which means you should not get to see nasty things along the road.
