On Hidden Pond Traditional Cache
kydan: I am no longer interested in maintaining this cache.
If someone else would like to adopt it that's great.
I won't be repairing or replacing this cache myself.
Thanks!

Weedy, stickery, some mud in wet or dry weather.
Follow deer paths for easiest walking.
Ticks and slithery reptiles possible in warm weather.
You can park temporarily on the South side of the road,
there is a barn and a gravel drive. Do not block the
drive but I parked there off to the side.
There is a pond on the south side of the road next to the
barn. THAT POND IS -NOT- THE ONE YOU ARE LOOKING FOR!!!
Use your GPSR and look on the other side of the road.
Remember it is a "hidden" pond.
The hidden pond has 2 small islands and is actually a very
small nature preserve owned by the "friends of Floyd's fork".
PLEASE CAREFULLY ZIP BOTH BAGGIES CONTAINING THE LOG!!!!
Suggest "diving into the brush" at the eastern fire hydrant
for shortest bushwhack.
Cache is a 2 LB coffee can painted cammo brown, green, black.
Original contents-- several zip lock baggies.
Log book, pencil.
UPDATE- November 12, 2007
Dried out big can. Tossed out a couple items that had
rusted or gone bad due to dampness.
Added a new log book inside a smaller new can
inside the old big can.
PLEASE CAREFULLY RE-ZIP THE BAGGIES CONTAINING THE LOG!!!
Shorts and or open toe shoes not recommended.
This is a nature preserve and is pretty much as nature
has grown it for the last few years.
Weeds and bugs are not bad in cool weather but not recommended in hot weather/tick season.
