Please know that the Indiana reviewers have done everything in their power to keep as many caches as possible on IDNR lands and to make this transition as smooth as possible. They have worked long and hard with the IDNR to come up with a new policy that will work for most cache owners. We are very sorry for any inconvenience the implementation of this permit process may cause.

Geocache Description:

This on hiking trail 5, which starts behind the building, in the Tippecanoe State park. The terrain is on the hilly side.

The cache is an ammo can. It contains a log, pencils and our daughter put this one together so it has children items in it. This is our most favorite state park, we love camping and hiking here. There is plenty of trails here with a lot to see. They also have a Horsaeman's Camp with a lot of horse trails through the park. Small entrance fee at the gate in the spring through summer. Also hunting will be from 12-3-06 till 12-6-06 then the park will be closed for public visits.
