In 1813 a man by the name of Jeffery Pudlington settled in this area. He was the founder of the Pudlington Brick Company. Jeffery invented a brick mass-producing machine which he called The Brkster.
For the first 6 months, the Pudlington Brick Company produced a record number of bricks for the growing Milwaukee metro area. There was danger brewing on the horizon (as there usually is). It seems that The Yellow Brick Works had planted a spy within Jeffery's company.
One by one, the spy, one Mister Simon Bartholemew, would steal bricks right off the assembly line and sneak them home. Shortages occurred, and Bartholemew's back yard also grew with all the stolen bricks.
Fearing he'd get caught, Bartholemew reported the mountain of bricks to the police. "They just appeared one night!" He told the Sargent. "Someone trespassed and dumped them here!"
Well, Jeffery was arrested shortly thereafter and charged with malicious bricking. He spent 3 years in jail and 22 years in the Parkwood Sanitorium.
Such a sad ending to a proud man's life.

UPDATE 12/18/06:
Several people have asked where in the world I come up with some of the container ideas as well as the yarns for this series. Well, this container is simple. My buddy, Knoffer, and I were out caching on one of Brkster's caches.
We came across a pile of logs. The cache was hidden amongst the logs hidden by a piece of wood. Well, sitting behind the wood, next to the cache was this container. I can think of no other reason for its existance except to give 'ol Rogheff a new caching idea.
Goofy ideas for caches come to me in many, many different ways. Sometimes I see a goofy container, sometimes I see something written, sometimes a person says something.
