Geocache Description:

Located at Shingobee Recreation Area. Lots of hiking trails(cross country ski trails in the winter months).

This is a multi-stage cache. Located about halfway between Walker and Akeley on Highway 34. Turn into parking area at N47°02.158', W094°38.829 . Proceed to first stage at N47°02.207', W094°38.594 . Once you're at the first stage, look towards the bottom of the hill and to the right. There is a building there (chalet). Note the color of the building. The number of letters in the color will be designated as X (for instance, blue would be X=4, brown would be X=5, etc.) Now, plug the number into the following formula to find the final stage. N47°02.[X-3][X][X-2]', W094°38.[X][X-3][X+1]' The cache is a full size ammo container and contains a log book/pen, FTF dollar and the usual swag. Very popular spot in the winter. Bring a sled and hang on for dear life.
