The Cache is NOT at the Above Posted Coordinates. They are the starting point for the following letterbox hybrid cache:
Go to the above coordinates and you should find yourself at a sign.
Walk North for about 80 feet and take the path that goes to the left. Continue up the path until you see a large pine tree on your left. Stop and enjoy the view.
Now, in front of you about 30 or so feet you will see two objects. A large oak to your right hanging over the trail and to the left and a very large fractured boulder.
Now, continue up the trail til you get between the two objects. Do not pass under the branch hanging over the trail. At this point you are within 15 feet of the cache. It looks like a large chunk of the boulder is splintered off… If I were you, I would chose going to the base of that splinter.
Inside the cache I have placed a stamp of a cat face, an ink pad, and a log. Please DO NOT REMOVE THESE ITEMS. You may use the stamp and ink pad to stamp your own “letterbox” pad.
Ok, now… since this is a letterbox you MUST stamp something on the pages of the log to gain credit for this cache (I will be checking). Hopefully, it will be a stamp that is personal to you. If not, please at least use a leaf, fingerprint, or something that shows your visit. I would love for the TRAKD boys to see them because they have really enjoyed the letterbox caches we have found over the past year. Also, sign your geocaching name across your stamp.
Parking is plentiful. Watch out for the hazardous oak, slithery ones, and stickers.
As always, enjoy! I know PWP will.
