pheows: Although the cache and puzzle seem very well received, I am afraid I must archive the cache. There is a good chance that cachers may inadvertently disturb the local vegetation in the area searching for the cache. The park is a really nice area for families to play and enjoy themselves. I would hate to think this wonderful place is getting ruined from a cache I placed. Using my own caching standards, I know I would be careful in wooded areas, but I am not sure other would take the same care that I would to preserve the space.

Geocache Description:

Minor bushwhacking required... or at least some "off trail" walking. You're looking for a camo ammo box.

THE CACHE IS NOT AT THE POSTED CORDINATES!!! SOLVE THE PUZZLE FOR THE ACTUAL CORDINATES!!!

Captain Bluebeard was a silly old pirate that loved games.  Years ago the Captain hid his treasure somewhere in the area and if you can solve the puzzle and find the treasure, you can have a piece of it! For trade of course! ;)

Captain Bluebeard’s treasure is cram packed full of gold coins, sparkly gems, and shiny necklaces… it’s a true treasure indeed.  If you take a piece of the treasure, please replace it with something “pirate themed”, otherwise the curse of Captain Bluebeard will follow you forever! 

Oh, not afraid of the curse?!?  You should be!  Captain Bluebeard’s curse will ensure all your caching days are rainy and wet, all the caches you hunt for will be hidden under leaves, any micro you find will have a full log, muggles will always be around, you will never have a first to find, and most terribly all your travel bugs will be lost.  Nasty stuff!

Captain Bluebeards Stacked Skull Pyramid is composed of 10 different skulls; all from the former crew mates that helped him hide the treasure.  Ewwww! Each skull is numbered from 0-9 with a top row of 1 numbered skull resting on a second row of 2 numbered skulls sitting on a third row of 3 numbered skulls supported by a bottom row of 4 numbered skulls.

For example, Captain Bluebeards Stacked Skull Pyramid could be:

Given the clues below, can you determine the composition of Captain Bluebeards Stacked Skull Pyramid?

  1. The three numbers at the top of the pyramid sum to 17, with the largest of the three atop the pyramid.
  2. The 2 isn't in the pyramid's third row, where the three numbers sum to 8.
  3. The leftmost number in the bottom row minus the number to its immediate right equals 1.
  4. The four leftmost numbers in the four rows of the pyramid add up to 13.
  5. The rightmost numbers in the two bottom rows sum to 11.
  6. Don't ever say old Captain Bluebeard didn't have a heart! Here's a hint you sorry land lover: A=7!

Once you have the solution, transpose the values to the letters accordingly and you will have your waypoint.
