Mitch: Impossible! Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

JamGuys: So, the time has finally come to say goodbye to one of my favorite caches. I went out to Mitch Park today and spent about 30 minutes rooting around in the thorns and a thick carpet of wet leaves but could not find the ammo can. There's been quite a bit of clearing and the like going on in the area and it's possible that the cache might have been muggled ..... which is a great pity because the price of ammo cans has gone up drastically in the last year or so! Anyway, thanks to all those who put in the time and effort to find this cache. Hope you enjoyed it!

Geocache Description:

Congrats to Mr.Bubba for being FTF!

ATTN: The co-ordinates posted above are FALSE! You’ll need to solve the puzzle to obtain the TRUE co-ordinates!

So, just when you thought you'd found all that Mitch Park has to offer, here comes a JamGuys' winter puzzle cache designed to upset your equilibrium and drive you to distraction! Your mission, should you decide to accept it, is to first crack the code and then find the cache that I've dubbed .....

*************************************************************

MITCH: IMPOSSIBLE!

The basis of this puzzle is a unique code that I've developed solely for the purpose of encrypting the cache co-ordinates. Don't be discouraged by the tacky cache title as deciphering the code is not at all impossible. However, doing so will require some amount of ordered thinking on your part …. a mental journey of discovery if you will. Since I don't wish to diminish the intensity of your "Eureka!" moment in any way, no hints will be issued until FTF honors have been claimed. Good luck and enjoy the hunt!

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

CACHE LOCATION: The cache is hidden in J. L. Mitch Park in Edmond, a location that's getting kinda crowded but still has a decent bit of cacheable real estate available. At the time that this listing was published, there were as many as eight active caches in the park and a few more in the immediate vicinity. However, since none of these are puzzle caches, I don't feel too bad returning to the Mitch Park well one more time. When hunting for the cache, be sure to keep an eye out for muggles, and please replace the container precisely where and how you found it.

CACHE CONTENTS: The container is a 7.62 mm ammo can sporting a signature JamGuys' paint job and containing a nice collection of swag, including at least two items recycled from Darkmoon caches I've visited recently. The First to Find prize is arguably the prettiest and definitely one of the most desirable geocoins yet minted, an unactivated Gold 2006 Compass Rose Geocoin. I'm also releasing the first of my new series of circulating geocoins, JamGuys' "Geocache America" Touring the World Geocoin #1.

FEEDBACK: Please feel free to drop me a line if you have any questions pertaining to this cache. However, as mentioned before, no clues will be given before the FTF prize has been claimed.
