A challenging cache and dash at a small Thornton park.
This cache was inspired by a similar challenge I located in Lakewood, Colorado during the fall of this year (2006). The cache is only a micro, but the park is so small, there is not a location for a larger cache. The cache is well hidden, but is observable (in other words, it is not buried). Bring your own geo pencil to sign the log. Place log in cap of cache container before sealing container. Have fun with this one!
Park hours are officially from 6 am to 11 pm, but there is no restricted access (like gates). The hours are to prevent vandalism. The cache is on park property-not outside the fence in the hay bales. Nor are you required to dig under the low branches of the Ponderosa Pines.
