Geocache Description:

A view over wetlands to the Wattagan Mountains

This little known gem of the lower Hunter Valley was recently under threat of over-development. A local action group was formed and the development approval was rightfully knocked back.
This micro is placed to encourage fellow cachers to visit and enjoy the beauty of the area. Sunrise is particularly special.
I have not posted a photo of the view as I would like it to remain a surprise to those first time visitors.
The route that this is on can be used as a scenic alternative from Sydney to the Hunter Valley wineries. If coming from Sydney, turn into Sandy Creek Rd off Freemans at Mt Vincent.
If coming from the wineries, follow Mt View Rd to Millfield (very scenic itself) then cross Wollombi Rd and head through to Paxton on Millfield Rd

This is a very small micro. The original receptacle for the micro has been relocated. The micro is now all by itself. I have added a hint to help.

Keep an eye out for local muggles.
