This multi-cache is
located on the West House Trail in Greensboro, NC. This trail is
directly across from the Pennisula Trail trailhead at Lake
Townsend.
This cache is not
terribly difficult in nature, but its true purpose is to introduce
individuals to a different trail in Greensboro. Being such a nice trail, it does not receive a lot
of traffic by geocachers or general hiking traffic.
In order to complete the
multi, you will be hiking the entire trail, but it is only about a
mile long. Please be warned that there a couple of spots that may
cause your feet to get a little wet, or jumping skills could be
handy.
Night caching: While I
think completing this one at night may prove to be fun, I must
point out I have spotted hunters using the trail. I have also seen a makeshift blind they have built
recently.
The FTF prize was a
BEAUTIFUL Sponge Bob Square Pants hat.
