A Stroll By The River
This amazingly beautiful place was literally found by accident as we searched for another cache somewhere in the area.
It cried out for a cache - so we have obliged.
There is extensive tree cover which reduces the chances of a good fix (if your GPSr works at all under all the trees!). So .... to make things a bit easier, these co-ordinates lead you to one of two parking spots by the side of the road and close to a small, single-lane bridge: S29 46.4017 E030 48.3836
To assist you from here, I have published a series of photographs to help you find the cache.
The photos give nothing away as to the actual location of the cache, so go ahead and print them out - preferably in colour, and take them along with you. The photograph titles will give you clues.
There two narrow trails, one on each side of the road. One of them leads to the cache.
As so much info has been given in the cache description, there are no additional hints required.
Have fun ambling along the riverside and enjoy the sounds of the stream, the birds and the tranquility.
Because of the heavy tree cover, the cache co-ordinates are as good as I couild get.
Have a good look around and ask yourself: "Where would I hide the cache?"
There's no need to go trampling through the bush destroying the vegetation, by the way, it's VERY close to the edge of the path.
We won't spoil the surprise of opening the cache for the first time, but there a couple of VERY COOL goodies for the FTF cacher to take home, along with a couple of trackables to grab and move on.
NOTE: Although this is a narrow, twisty little country road, it was surprisingly busy so please watch out for traffic if you cross the road.
