This Cache makes use of two Benchmarks from the The Canadian Spatial Reference System (CSRS) to help locate the Cache container.
The CSRS is a network of Vertical and Horizontal Geographic Reference Points (Benchmarks) used in surveying, mapping, urban planning etc. Together with other Federal and Provincial reference systems, the CSRS comprises more than 100,000 individual benchmarks across Canada.
The above coordinates are not those of the Cache. They are the historical Longitude and latitude of the first of two intermediate waypoints in this cache hunt as registered in the CSRS database (B/M 65L012). They will get you in the general area of the benchmark from which you can visually search for the benchmark itself based on the location description in the Database.
65L012 is a Vertical Control Point whose horizontal coordinates were measured roughly from a Topographic Map. Accuracy in this case is within approx 125 metres of the actual benchmark. (Vertical positioning is much more precise)
The second CSRS reference waypoint (B/M 622400) is a “Triangulation Point” whose historical coordinates are inherently more accurate than those of the first benchmark. This marker may be harder to find in winter as it is located on the ground. However, the description included in the CSRS database and on Waymarking.Com includes information on two nearby “Reference Stations” which are accessible in winter and from which the precise position of 622400 can be determined through triangulation or projection.
The accuracy and precision of the coordinates contained in this database vary widely with the method of measurement and intended use of specific benchmarks. As members of Geocaching.com you are automatically registered with Waymarking.com with the same User Name and Password. Although Geocaching.Com permits the logging of US benchmarks, this is not the case with Canadian benchmarks. However, you can log these markers as finds on Waymarking.com if you provide photo proof of your visits (more information is available on the Waymarking website).
The Cache position is a true bearing of 105.141 degrees from B/M 65L012 and a true bearing of 162.507 degrees from B/M 622400. (Calculated using the ellipsoid model of the Earth)

Elles vous guideront dans le secteur général du repère d’où vous pourrez la rechercher visuellement basé sur la description de l'endroit dans la base de données.
65L012 est un point de control vertical dont les coordonnées horizontales ont été mesurées à partir d’une carte topographique. La précision dans ce cas-ci est d’approximativement 125 mètres du repère réel. (la position verticale est beaucoup plus précise).
