Steep (at times) hike up Soldier Trail. Ratings are my guesstimates but can/will change based upon others opinions. Total elevation change from parking to cache site is about 1116 ft with the high point of the trail being higher than that.

I placed this cache as the first of 10 that will be named after the US Air Force Enlisted Ranks. I moved away and adopted out the others. It is located approx 1.1 miles (as the crow flies)up Soldier Trail and overlooks a small canyon. This is my favorite place to hike in the area. I would like for this cache to maintain a military/patriotic theme. I felt that "soldier trail" was the perfect spot for it. Happy Caching The cache is a standard ammo can that at hiding contained: USO Care Package JHendu Signature wooden token Bag of army men Several USAF patches PC game "Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow" Official USAF mini-medal--Armed Forces Expeditionary Service Log and 2 pens And.....A Green Jeep TB (little creek peak) Parking is at the Soldier Trail Trailhead @ 32 18.532N 110 44.125w Have spoken with Marv Murray of the Forestry Service Catalina office and have been cleared to leave cache as is. He informed me that the only restrictions would be in the Big Horn Sheep conservation area which is in the SW corner of the Catalinas (Esperero Trail north and west).
