Coppin'
It
In 1981 the Littlehampton School helped to
develop this nearby bush area as a community facility.
This pocket of native bush has been preserved in its natural state
so that native flora and fauna can be observed and appreciated.
Students from Littlehampton school regularly visit the bushland
site during the year, observing the seasonal changes.
During spring, students are able to identify several species of
native plants.
Each year, a small group of volunteer students, work with members
of a local volunteer group
to learn the techniques of weeding in native bushland.
Unfortunately this area is coppin' it from
illegal trail bike riders.
This is a delicate area so please stick to the paths and leave the
Geo Puppies home.
Don't be tempted to head to GZ in a direct line, the paths will
get you there.
I hope you enjoy your walk through this
small pocket of Australian Bushland
