Beat the hustle and bustle of the holidays by sittin' back and relaxing with a pile of wings, your favorite beverage and the company of fellow cachers.
We will be there from 6 P.M. on.
Geek and I are teaming up to co-host this get together...
Highlights will include:
Build-a-cache... We will supply an ammo can, and log book. You bring some swag to contribute and put your name in the hat to win this ready-to-hide cache.
Win a geocoin: A new geocoin will be raffled off as well...
We will offer a fun get-to-know-your-caching-friends mixer...
The restaurant is open until 1 A.M. Stay as long as you like and until ALL of the caching stories are told.
Travel bugs are encouraged to be here and we know there will be many to grab. Also look for a few neat-O geocoins to discover some new icons for your page.
Menu is vaired. Location IS suitable for minicachers as this is a family restaurant.
I pulled the co-ords from Google Earth. They will be confirmed on the ground later this week and updated if needed.
Hey, If you cannot find a restaurant with a lighted sign... How you gonna find a film can in the woods?
P.S. Perfect excuse... I have been reminded that there is a large shopping mall in the vacinity (Hawthorn at rte. 60 and Milw. Ave.). Tell the family you are going out to do holiday shopping and come back with the front of your shirt tattooed with wing sauce. Um... it was an accident... yeah, that is right, I was at the mall, shopping, and this old lady was walking by with a container of food, yes that is it... and she fell down... and I had to help her... and as I was helping her to her feet I got some sauce on my clothes from her dropped to-go container...yeah, that is what happened... I was helping an old lady in the spirit of the holidays... yeah, she is o.K., but I got BWW sauce on my shirt, yeah that is what happened... Oh yeah, the mall is open really late... yeah, she was so touched she bought me a few beers and gave me these extra travel bugs,... yeah, that is what happened.
