Geocache Description:

A simple cache right on trail in an underused part of Quicksilver.

While on a nice group hike today I realized that this part of the park doesn't have many caches, and I had an emergency backup cache at hand. So I started searching for just the right spot for it. A few weeks ago I was on another great group hike in Sierra Azul when we did an interesting cache by Mystery Ink called River Runs Through It. This spot reminded me of that one, but in miniature. The micro cache is very close to the trail. Nothing special, just a simple cache to tempt you to go down this nice trail.

By the way, you might be wondering about this trail - just who was Virl O. Norton? Well, here is a site devoted to him.
