Turun teatterikerho teki 19.11.1959 päätöksen ammattivoimin toimivan kesäteatterin perustamisesta. Tästä sai alkunsa nykyinen Samppalinnan kesäteatteri. Teatterin toimintaan, historiaan ja ohjelmaan voi tutustua sen internetsivuilla.
Kätkö on pienikokoinen small (suunnilleen desilitran vetoinen muovirasia), johon ei mahdu geokolikkoa suurempia vaihtoesineitä. Kätkö todennäköisesti peittyy talvella lumen alle (jos sitä täällä saadaan). En ole varma, kestääkö kätkö nykyisessä paikassaan, mutta yritetään. Jos se tulee jästityksi, etsin uuden paikan.
Minulla oli mukanani 2 gps-vastaanotinta, jotka olivat hiukan erimielisiä paikan koordinaateista. Valitsin Garmin Gekon antamat verrattuani tarjokkaita Karttapaikan antamaan topografikarttaan. Kertonette ystävällisesti, jos koordinaatteja täytyy korjata.

The theatre society of Turku made 19.11.1959 a decision to establish a summer theatre with professional actors. This was the initial point of Samppalinnan kesäteatteri (Samppalinna summer theatre) as we know it. You can read more about the theatre in it's webpages (sorry, in Finnish only).
The cache container is a small even for a small (abt. one dl) and there is no room for a traveller much bigger than a geocoin. The container will probably be covered with snow (if we are going to get it) in winter. I am not so sure, if the cache will last here, but let's try anyway! If it will be muggled, I will search another place for the hide.
I had two gps receivers with me and they gave a little different readings for the coordinates. I chose the ones given by Garmin Geko after comparing the topographic maps given by the Karttapaikka in Finland. Be so kind and tell me if the coordinates need to be adjusted.
