'Twas the Day
After Cachemas, And all through the OC,
Not a cacher was searching, Not even the Strike Team.
The bison tubes were hung in the trees with care,
In hopes that muggles would not be there.
Lil’ Duck and Baby Duck were snug in their beds,
While visions of good swag danced in their heads.
And Dopey with her flashlight and Duck with his TOTT,
Had just snuck out for a quick “evening date out.”
When out in Saddleback Valley, new cache alerts arriving,
We jumped in the cache-mobile, and started driving.
Away to ground zero we arrived in a flash,
Only to find other cachers there in a FTF-dash.
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But lots of great friends and holiday cheer.
With GPS’s in hand, plus containers and swag,
There was lots of joy and fun to be had.
With hopes that receiving is not as much fun as giving,
Happy Cachemas to all, and to all lots of smileys in
2007!
Please join us for a small
gathering to decompress after the big day. Nothing special, just
getting together for pizza, beer, some coffee and chatter. No
purchase necessary. All ages and all levels of cachers welcome.
