this is our only cache in the south. we always camp at the top of the island, to miss the crowds. not far along the beach from the carpark.
this cache was planned to be placed at the very top of the island at rooney point. making it a full 5 in terrain rating as the last 16 km is by foot or in our case boat. but the weather turned us back and rather than bring it home we thought an easy find would do instead. this is our 14 trip to the island and we have loved all the visits and we will be back next year. this is a 1 lt container with just a log book
