Geocache Description:

PLEASE HIDE JUST AS FOUND & COVER WELL

This will be the Krazy Cacher Team’s 2ND multi-cache! THE 1ST BACK TO BECK WAS IN A BAD LOCATION OF STRANGE GOINGS ON AND WAS PLUNDERED 2 TIMES SO HERE IS A BETTER AREA. It’s loaded with good stuff. This forest is where I spent a lot of time when I was a teenager. We would hike and bring the dogs (hot dogs and our dogs) and do some char-cookin’ on an open fire for lunch. We have seen deer, hawks, owls, pheasant, and all the other more common wildlife. We would go in there all the time even at night when it was closed. My wife, Amy, used to come here with her family on Sunday mornings in the late 60’s and cook breakfast on a Hibachi grill. The type of people that went to the Forest Preserves in the years to follow changed so there would be no more Sunday morning breakfast cookouts for her. The lake has also claimed many lives through the years. It has an infamous undertow that can pull you under. We took our blow up raft out to the island one time and got caught in a bad thunderstorm. We hid under the raft on the island until it was safe!

Now About the Cache! My friend Denny and I hid this cache together as we have not been in these woods together for 20 years! The first stage is a small 1”x3” jar with the coords to the final cache inside. The final cache is covered well to keep non-cachers away. --------------------------------
