Geocache Description:

This cache is hidden close to the peak of Utslettefjellet (252m) on Stord. Although it is far from being the highest mountain on Stord it is well worth a visit.

Two marked paths lead to the top of the mountain, one from Dyvik (N59 47.168 E5 22.428) and the other from Hustrudalen (N59 47.203 E5 23.931), however, as these paths follow a valley on the backside of the mountain, alternative routes might be used if you desire a more challenging trip. From N59 46.932 E5 23.287 a path leads up the steepest part of the mountain, but from where it flattens the path has been missing since the beginning of the 90s, when fire cleared most of the mountain from grass, bushes and trees.
