Geocache Description:

One of a series of occasional cache’n’dashes placed along the quieter roads of Berwickshire.

The cache is named from the hill on whose slopes it lies - Laughing Law.

The main reason for placing this cache was to persuade visitors to the area to drive round by Monynut - it really is a most beautiful, hidden corner of Berwickshire and well worth the detour especially if you are fortunate enough to enjoy the fine, sunny weather that I had when placing the cache. There is an unexpected surprise at the suggested parking place which may encourage cachers to attempt Meriadoc’s “Siccar Point” - waypoint GCVBGM. (Getting to “Who’s Laughing Now” is a bit easier but will give an idea of what to expect at Siccar Point).

Although the cache is close to the road, really just a cache and dash, it is placed on a steep slope which will require care to negotiate - not recommended for high heels or slip-ons!

Car parking at N 55 52.128; W 002 25.908.
