bouton: Last year the London Royal Parks management in Greenwich park decided they did not want geocaching activity in the park and asked for any caches that were there to be removed. Since then negotiations have been taking place between the Geocaching Association of Great Britain (GAGB) and the Royal Parks authority to try and get an agreement for geocaching in the parks throughout London. Unfortunately the Royal Parks have now made a decision which is to ban geocaching completely. A consequence of this decision is that I have been asked to disable our caches.

I've also been asked that you write the Queen and ask her to reconsider!

Good luck. We still have plenty on the Isle of Wight. Go have some good fun there.

Geocache Description:

A 35 mm canister hidden within sight of a central london bird sanctuary.

We found this place just by chance, walking through the park. A flash of color flew by. We stopped and looked closer. A flock of parrots, great spotted woodpeckers, colorful finches and starlings all flying about, chattering away. Here in the middle of London. "Bird records for Kensington Gardens go back more than a hundred years and 178 species have so far been identified. Green Woodpeckers nest in the Gardens - a rare occurrence in Central London." Click here for more. And Wild Life For All. So whether you are a birder or not, on a good day, this is quite a sight to behold. Even on a not so good day, there is wildlife abound. Note: Please replace camo as found. It's been muggled a couple of times so let's keep it well hid. Thanks
