Geocache Description:

A full size ammo box in the eastern part of Diamondhead along a nice little trail for either mountain bikes or hikers made for the little cachers who want to find more then a piece of paper in an almost invisible aluminum tube.

This is a child friendly cache. You are looking for a 7.62 mm ammo box with all nice toys inside packed by my children for other children. Most toys were individually packaged in ziplock bags to keep them as nice as they were originally. It is hidden along a nice little hiking / "mountain" biking trail in the Eastern part of Diamondhead, easy to hike and to drive your bike if you have a little biking experience. Follow Diamondhead Dr. East around until you get to the first circle. From this circle a small trail heads east. Follow this trail to get to the cache for about .5 miles one way. The first section of the trail looks a little bit rough as there is still debris around left behind by Katrina or the following clean up operations. The trail follows a small bayou around, back up North. Might be a little more challenging after a good rain. Bring some insect repellent as there might be some blood thirsty six-legged variations of mother nature around. My GPS showed an average error of about 15 feet at the position due to the tree cover. Might be more in the summer when the foliage is a bit thicker out here. I have included an unactivated Black Nickel Singapore Geocoin, free to keep for For the First-to-Find. Please hide the cache as well or better as it was when you found it, and please trade even or up. Enjoy the cache.
