Rothiemurchus forest, close to Coylumbridge. The cache is located within the forest, a short distance from the path to the Lairig Ghru. Lovely short walk. Some uneven ground. Not difficult terrain. General difficulty still quite easy.
The cache is in a small Locknlock plastic box (thanks Tooey for swapping it for the original jar..much better). There is room for the log book and a few small trade items/coins. It originally contained a logbook, pencil, attractive pin badge from Iceland, some other Icelandic souvenirs, nice things.
This cache can no longer be maintained by us since we have moved away from the area. If anyone would like to take over regular maintenance please get in touch with kisacat2 via the geocaching website. It would be wonderful if those visiting can take along plastic bags or spare paper to help with maintenance. It seems a shame to remove the cache since it receives a lot of visitors. Thank you for your help.
