Geocache Description:

A family-friendly cache located near a scenic overlook along State Route 129 about 5 miles south of Summersville, West Virginia.

From U.S. Route 19, go west on S.R. 129. If travelling north, this is a left-hand turn; if heading south, turn right. After going about 1.5 miles, you will arrive at the overlook located on the right side of the highway. After enjoying the view and finding the cache, take some time to explore to the right and left of the overlook area to find some additional "hidden surprises", such as high cliffs, fantastic outcroppings and a couple of really neat rock caves. The way to the cache is fairly level and very kid-friendly. However, if you decide to investigate the other "surprises", some the terrain is definitely not for small children!

The cache is in a 15 oz. Lock-n-Lock container. Initial contents are: a toy car, mini calculator, pencil sharpener, toy top, 3 fossils on descriptive cards, butterfly eraser, mini etch-a-sketch, Turkey 100 Lira coin, Scottsdale AZ lucky coin, William Clark medal, Reddy Reindeer travel bug, and a log book with pen.

Take care and use some stealth when searching for and rehiding the cache. It is in a fairly obvious location and you can be seen from the road and parking area, especially in the winter months when the leaves are off the trees. Please rehide the container exactly as found, so it will still be there for the next person.
