Geocache Description:

NOT AT POSTED COORDS !!

Inspired by some local puzzle caches, and as a memorial on the birthday of dear Grandpa Fritz, I decided to try my hand at doing
one. In trying to solve other puzzle caches, I've found that it can
take a great deal of patience to not get frustrated. You can skip
the following story if you want, but before I get to the code at
the end, I want to share a story about patience that inspired me,
as told by Grampa Fritz. He immigrated to the USA from the "old
country", as he would often say. Before he passed on, a local High
School class that was doing a unit on immigration video-taped him
for part of their project - that is how I have his exact words, as
I will try to put them down here (his use of English was always
interesting, for though he was an educated man, he learned English
later in life). He was sure interesting to listen to. So, about
patience, in Grandpa Fritz's own words, as much as I can try to
write the way he said it:

"Ya, ven I vas young, for many years I
tried out for a place in the Bremen Town Band. If I won a spot,
catching the eye of Elsie, the most prettiest lass I knew, would be
easy for me - she always loved hearing the band play. On tryout
day, my stomach is sicks, head has hurts, and my mum vouldn't let
me go! Ya - dat's right, she vouldn't! That make my stomach even
more sicks - Elsie was so pretty! So next day I saw bandleader
again, begging him, but the band places were full for year. He said
I ought stop bothering him, but I said Nein! I vill do anything! I
vent out at place in cow pasture, behind a tree, to cry, but after
awhile decided I vould ask for another chance. He said they did
need a fife player, but I played der flugelhorn. So I sat down and
practiced, day and night (only stopping at chore time), a whole
month, then asked again. This time he said Ya! My stomach vas sicks
again, but this time in a good vay. And that is how I met Elsie,
and won her heart, and you now call her Grandma Elsie!" Ok, it's
better to actually hear him tell it, but it did teach me the answer
to patience.
