Geocache Description:

I’ve been looking at this spot for a while, and finally decided now was the time to get a cache out there. This is an old park, pool and golf course complex that has been around since at least 1935, and is probably unknown to many not familiar with East Toledo. The pool dates from the WPA days, but has fallen on hard times, and probably has been closed for good. The golf course was originally 18 holes, but an expansion in 1965 of the nearby Toledo Water Plant took the back nine. BTY: A fine base for any drink is still made nearby. Good by itself too! Muggles will be more of a problem in the summer, but in the winter, you may have the park all to yourself. As this is a city park, hours are sunrise to sunset. This is now a new container(as of 5/23). The old one was made by COTY-02, and was a door prize for a Christmas party. Bring a pencil. Enjoy!
