Geocache Description:

Cache is located on the north side of Cliff Cave Park in St. Louis
County. This is a very nice and scenic park with several hiking
trails, caches, and views of the Mississippi River.

As you enter the park, park your car in the first lot on your
right. You can reach the trail and the cache from one of two
locations. You can reach the trail from the trailhead near the
railroad tracks, but this is a short, steep climb. The views of the
river from up there are worth the effort, then you can proceed
along the marked trail to the cache site. Or you reach the trail by
walking back up the road you drove in on and hike the trail there.
Are you hungry yet? Cache is located about 80 feet off the
established trail, so some bushwacking may be necessary. Cache is
not hard to find, but the area may be overgrown in the summer.
There were lots of signs of deer. Cache has the standard trinkets;
rubber ducky keychain, green alien, a couple of golf balls, a small
box, stickers, ball, etc, etc. Have fun. Are you hungry yet?
