To what would a magnet stick out here in the middle of nowhere?

One of those swimming pool nets on a long pole would definitely be handy here, or perhaps an extra long butterfly net. I dropped this one a couple of times when trying to get it in just the "right" spot. It got a little wet, but fortunately the H2O wasn't very deep today. After a big rain, having a "caTcher" (either live or innanimate) would probably help!
