Geocache Description:

You are searching for a regular size container a short walk off the Florida Trail. Cache is located along part of the trail that passes through the Withlacoochee State Forest and Green Swamp West.

One of the first M&M Melted caches I found was "Edge of the Swamp". After searching and finding several of their caches I began to notice a trend. They are usually located in areas that are moist or will be moist during the rainy season. I think this one would meet with their approval. Even after walking this part of the trail a few times I am amazed at the amount of water that can set in this area for extended periods of time.

There are a couple of way to get to this cache and I have provided waypoints to get you in the right area. If you access this cache from the River Road trail head it is a LONG walk along the Florida Trail. If you park at the Devil's Creek crossing or Lacoochee Clay Sink Road it is a much shorter walk along the trail but you may have to wade the creek, depending on the water levels.

Hunt dates for Richloam can be found here.

Please replace the cache as found.
