A continuation of my Old Coach Road Series. Situated on the shore of Sprucehill Lake.This is yet another cache along the Old Coach Road (also known as the Old St. Margaret's Bay Road) that stretches across the Chebucto Peninsula from Harrrietsfield to Glen Margaret. Within the boundrys of Long Lake Provincial Park. A great trail that offers a few water hazards to circumnavigate but can usually be done without to much difficulty. There are a couple other caches along this route for you to visit so check them out while you are here. This one will give you a nice look at what once used to be an important part of the Halifax Water Shed. I decided to place this cache after seeking out "ROCK" Foses Hill Trail by trailmaker 62. When I found this cache I was following the footsteps of RFR and decided that we needed a cache to get a nice view on this side of the lake.
