The idea for this cache began with markrocks916's fascination with "real" heroes.
You can open the gates and drive in, just be sure to close them on your way out. Cache is located on cemetery property close to the northeast corner.
This is a beautiful, peaceful spot. Enjoy the serenity, relax in the country air, watch the squirrels, contemplate your place in life. Say hello to Mark if you'd like (close to the front gates.)
This cache is dedicated to those who are our heroes, who have loved us, hurt with us, and kept us moving since October, 2004:
*Jim - for keeping me going and being strong when I crumble
*The Moms - always ready with a hug or an ear
*My Daddy and Jim's Dad - who are having WAY too much fun "rocking" with Mark in Heaven now
*Aunt Sissie and cousin Sarah - moving to the MotherLand this week! (Soon to be known as the SisterHood)
*Pat - one of Mark's real people heros - now one of the family
*Officer Craig and Officer Matt - more of Mark's real people heroes who allowed us the priviledge and blessing of supporting them as they served in Iraq
*Bonnie and Jerry - for the cache container, cammo, and quiet support, you are special
*Chaplain Bratton & the green squad of the Jacksonville Fire
Dept. Station 1 - for trying so diligently and crying so freely
Original cache contents include things to give to the real heroes in your life: military, police, firefighters, paramedics, teachers, sisters, to name a few. Also started with a travel bug Mark would have loved: Geocaching for Dummies.
There is a small box of purple rocks which is not a trade item. Take a rock and remember - markrocksinheavennow!
I love you, Mark
