Geocache Description:

This cache is number one of two caches commemorating the beauty of the Cahaba River in central Alabama. The other is Upper Cahaba - River Run.

The Cahaba River stretches for almost 200 miles and is Alabama’s longest free-flowing stream. The 100-mile Upper Cahaba River provides metropolitan Birmingham and surrounding areas with places to play and water to drink. More than 500,000 people draw their drinking water from the river. The river provides recreation to many anglers, botanists, canoeists, hikers and wildlife watchers.

What’s in the cache?
This cache is full of rocks, aka river stone. Rocks are our world. The planet Earth is, essentially, just one big interesting rock, sometimes called "the 3rd rock from the sun."
Take a river stone. Leave a river stone. There are plenty in the neighborhood…….
