POSSUM LODGE Fancy playground equipment, groomed trails, and pristine ball fields are highly over-rated. Who needs them when you can have all that the City of Bloomington’s Norman Ridge Playground has to offer? Here you’ll find 9.16-acres of the sharpest thistles, most unrelenting burs, and thorniest branches in the region. The rather inconspicuous entrance is on the south side of the playground at the waypoint described below (N44°50.237 W093°21.285). Parking is available on Norman Ridge Drive near the entrance location. Enjoy all of the great features of this so-called “playground” as you seek out this regular sized cache.
