This trail follows the ridge line of the hills behind shell beach; there are many elevation changes and a slippery gravel path. There are many starting points for this trail which include Sycamore Mineral Springs Resort, Pirates cove parking lot, or in shell beach near sunset palisades entrance. Depending on the entrance of choice the length of the journey could change but from any entrance it will not take you more than an hour on the trail.
The cache is in a small plastic container.
