Geocache Description:

Should be a pretty easy find. Make sure you check out the other points of interest.

Local legend has it that a meteor fell to earth in the Union city area. Where it supposedly fell in now called Meteor ridge farm.
A local writer has documented this event in a children’s book. Patricia Polacco lives on the farm, and is a colorful local celebrity . There is a Meteor festival every year. Part of the meteor is said to be located in the area cemetery. You can find this object fairly easy. I am no expert, but I am not sure I agree that it’s an object from space. It makes for a good story though. You can decide for yourself.
The cache is in the cemetery but not near the “Meteor”
It’s a 3”x8” camo’ed container. There are small trade items and a log. Also a first to find prize. Well hidden at about eye level.
