Geocache Description:

This cache is located less than 30 feet off the new Charles Bailey Trail in the Pennsylvania section of White Clay Creek. Best place to park is at end of Yeatmans Station Road at 39 deg 45.209 and 75 deg 45.757 where there is very small parking lot. The trail starts from there.

Inital cache has been muggled, replacemant is now moved about 10 feet from initial hide. It is only 15' from trail.

There have been sighting over the years of a cougar in White Clay Creek. This looked like the perfect place for the cougar to stalk the local deer.

This cache is dedicated to the Delaware Geocachers that helped build this trail during the spring 2006 CITO event. Thanks to Brianslost, debjoey, Hart612, Harthausen, Horn229, Instant Coffee, joeupthecreek, Liddydog, programmer64, Runfrog, Sharpie24, wahkegan, wdcarvr+1, and Yokota85.

Further up the trail ( 39 deg 45.462 and 75 deg 45.957 )is the old RR crossing abutments. Plans are progressing to construct a "Bridge over Middle Run" type span using the existing abutments. (UPDATE: BRIDGE IS NOW COMPLETE) You can take the old horse trail now marked a Boundary Line Trail up the hill and through the farm fields and back to Yeatmans Station Road. (UPDATE OR TAKE THE NOW COMPLETE CHARLES BAILEY TRAIL) Or continue upstream bushwhacking either the high or low route to "High Above White Clay Creek" cache.
