December 2006 -- News Flash: A Giant Panda escapes from The Zoo!!!
A Giant Chinese Panda, ‘Ms Anna Panda’ escaped from Portland Zoo with the help of an Oregon geocacher named, geoplummie. The two females were last seen in downtown Lake Oswego in search of food and a place for Anna Panda to hide.
Update: November 7, 2007
Ms Anna Panda has redecorated her cave and is inviting all cachers to come visit her.
Update: December 18, 2006
It appears that Ms Anna Panda is hiding in a small cave within a rock wall formation. Unable to locate any bamboo to eat, she has developed a taste for ivy. It has been documented that geoplummie doesn’t eat ivy, but does enjoy pot stickers from a local Chinese restaurant.
Caution: Wear gloves when searching the caves. Ms Anna Panda has never bitten anyone, nor has geoplummie, but you never know what type of animal is sharing her cave.
PLEASE RETURN PANDA TO THE SAME CAVE THAT YOU FOUND HER OCCUPYING!
Bring your own pen/pencil. Ninja Stealth required, as muggles might be watching you through the darken windows
THIS CACHE WAS ONCE PART OF THE ONE DEGREE:STEAKS #1 THE ZOO CACHE, but it was muggled and the unique container went missing.
