This cache could have been called "Ode to CKayaks"

This cache is in the Soquel Demonstration Forest
and has multiple approaches. Your approach will determine the
terrain rating, so I'm averaging it at a 3-star. You can come in
from the top of Nisene Marks and then pick up the Ridge Trail to
the cache, or you can come in through the SDF and come up Sulphur
Springs Road. OR, you can drop into the nearby Helispot and this
will be a 1.5-star terrain
I placed this cache while hiking in to "Demo
Baby!" from Nisene Marks. I generally don't drop caches along the
route when I'm looking for another cache, but I had enough time to
actually look around and explore the area and came across a
wonderful bench, dedicated to a Jim Owens, that has a breath-taking
view.

The cache is hidden in classic CKayaks style
(aside from dropping it off while looking for another cache): it's
a decon container near the bench. A hint is provided in case you
arrive and your batteries are dead, but it should be a no-brainer
either way.
I didn't place this cache to spawn a bunch of
activity up here. I actually like the fact that you spend more time
hiking than searching up here, but this spot really needed a cache
since it's easily passed by while hiking on the main trail past it.
Enjoy!
