O'Kane Park Post Office Letterbox Hybrid

This cache has been archived.

Sugar-and-Spice: Cache is gone. I am going to archive and hope to place another cache or two in the area in a few months. I also plan on placing another Letterbox in the Paris area soon, but hidden in a way more traditional with letterboxing.

Geocache Description:

O'Kane Park Post Office

I have a goal to place a variety of caches and this is one of my efforts in doing so.

This is a Letterbox Hybrid hidden on Corps of Engineers property at O'Kane Park off of State Highway 309 north of Paris.

O'Kane park is no longer maintained like it once was. The roads in the park are no longer in the condition they once were and in some areas I have seen some pretty deep holes with water standing in them. I have rated it a 2 1/2 on the terrain because there might be times that in certain vehicles you will want to walk in rather than drive through the big mud holes. I did not see any poison ivy or thorns in the cache location but this is a wooded area so be watchful.

This is a small container that contains a stamp, stamp pad, and a logbook for Letterboxing and also a log to log as a cache.

The items for Letterboxing have been placed together in a zip-lock bag. I have also included some self-addressed postcards. I ask that if you are letterboxing that you stamp the postcard with your stamp and the stamp from the container and write anything to me that you would like then drop the postcard in the mail.

The container also contains some trade items.
