In a way I am glad someone left the lid off the cache as it gave me an opportunity to visit the Rutgers Gardens "in season". This is the most beautiful area of any cache I have placed. I hope you have time to look at some of the pictures I snapped to get an idea of where you will be (hopefully) visiting. If you want the full effect of this gorgeous area, start at the trailhead and work your way through the gardens until you arrive at the woods. Please feel free to upload pictures.
The cache is now a medium-sized lock and lock© container with camouflage tape. There is a picture of ground zero on this cache page. Check it out so you can see for what you look. Also, the cache is not on the ground so please return it the way you found it. Please. Good luck and I hope you enjoy the gardens as much as I did. :0)

This is the second of a series of 21 caches that will be placed in each of New Jersey’s 21 counties. This one completes the Middlesex County requirement. This cache is located in Helyar Woods, a short distance from the main trails and an even shorter distance to another cool cache, Green Cache which gave me the impetus to hide this one here. A certain number of people completing the Dizz-Knee challenge will be given a new, commemorative geocaching coin, trackable on geocaching.com, unactivated.

As I had much trouble finding the route here, you can go to the Green Cache page for some intelligence on how to get here. I have also provided several waypoints to help you in your journey. One of the waypoints, I am sitting on now. It is the spot where I entered the woods to place the cache. To quote Kitegirl: “Access to the area is via Log Cabin Rd, off of Ryders Lane. PLEASE observe the hours posted! The area is open 8am until dusk, 7 days a week”

When going for the cache, walk through the gate (waypointed), cross a small bridge (waypointed) and walk straight to it (obviously waypointed).

While placing this cache, Maggie had outstanding accuracy so the cords will be very accurate. Please recover well and secure the lid on all 4 corners. The first Dizz-Knee challenge cache was placed in November in Cape May County. The name has nothing to do with the hide. A certain number of people completing the Dizz-Knee challenge will be given a new, commerative geocaching coin, trackable on geocaching.com, unactivated.
