Geocache Description:

Small cache located a little ways off the main Rowher trail. You can park within 50ft of the cache, but 4x4 is required to get there.

As we headed up this section of Rowher trail, we noticed something we had not seen here before. A white cross on the hillside. The date on the cross was Oct 2006, so it was just recently placed. That also explains the fresh tracks that go right to the cross.

Much to my surprise, the cross had my name on it. I did a little internet sleuthing found this information-

Lundin, Tyler Evan Born June 9, 1986, in Thousand Oaks. Passed away October 26, 2006, in Mission Hills at the age of 20. Tyler was a resident of Quartz Hill and graduated in the Class of 2004, from Quartz Hill High School, where he played in the school band. He had been a member of the Leona Valley Racketeer 4-H, Acme Acting Company, Off Road Tonka Toy Group, Quartz Hill AYSO and Little League. Left to cherish his memory are his parents Craig and Ruth Lundin, sisters Jessie and Emily Lundin, grandmother Frances Aptaker, grandfather Rod Lundin (Tammie) and many wonderful uncles, aunts, cousins, and loving friends.

PALMDALE - More than 50 people carrying American flags and signs that read "Stop illegal immigration" demonstrated Saturday at an intersection where a young Palmdale man was fatally injured in a crash blamed on an unlicensed, uninsured undocumented immigrant who tried to walk away after the collision.

Lundin died four days after an Oct.22 crash in which his pickup truck collided with a compact car that turned left in front of it. The car's two occupants tried to walk away after the crash, but they were caught and detained by several people who witnessed the crash, sheriff's deputies said.

The container you are looking for has room for some small trinkets. Please note how the cache is hidden and take care to re-hide it exactly as you found it. Enjoy!
