This cache was hidden with some of you holiday vacationers in mind.
You'd like to go cross-country skiing, but there's no snow. So
maybe you'd rather go geocaching. And the path leading to this
cache will be skiable with only a few inches of snow when Stowe's
touring centers aren't able to open.
This cache is located along the Quiet Path, a public walking
path not far from downtown Stowe. Locals know it as the "dog path",
because it is THE place to take your dog for off-leash recreation.
So bring the geodogs, and let them have fun and meet other friends
while you hunt this cache. The cache is a plastic locking container
which has room for only small items.
The best place to park to access the Quiet Path is near the end
of Cemetery Road just before it enters the cemetery. You will find
this just off of VT 100 a short distance north of town. Coordinates
for parking are N 44°28.183 W 72°40.917.
