Geocache Description:

Down in the gully - with the ferntrees.

A cache with many different elements that makes for a great little walk to stretch the legs and break the trip.
You get to sign 2 logs books at this cache. The first one when you pull into the car park, and the next when you find the cache. Check out the mud brick toilet! One of the best bush toilets I have seen but not up to the standards of some of the visitors who were looking for a "proper" toilet. (From the log book)
The loop track is only about 2.5km long and could be easily covered in less than an hour by someone with average fitness. There are a few steps but the decent/accent is probably only about 50 meters.
Of course I placed the cache as far away from the car park as I could. This puts it in the gully where GPS coverage is very ordinary. I spent 45 minutes averaging in several locations and returning to the cache. Even so, I think I could be up to 10m out. The hint will help you nail it though.
I recommend going in an anti-clockwise direction to Flat Rock lookout, then double back and down the steps into the gully. Find the cache and continue on and out the other end of the gully.
The cache is an ex-ammo tin with as much as I could stuff in it.
Didn't see any snakes in the area and there is little undergrowth to hide them but take care in the summer months.

OK, I was desperate for a musician or band name for this one. This what I had on the CD when I arrived. The walk does have a lot to offer though. (visit link)
